fitness test ...

The actual fitness test was seriously easy and i didnt have to strain myself too hard. however i did push myself in order to prove myself to the instructors.
The scores that you have to get are:
Bleep test = 5.4
Push test = 35kg
Pull test = 34kg
The instructors are really friendly but do like to get the job done so do rush you if you are taking your time.
Still no one should worry about any stage if you have applied you are able to get in. As long as you are willing to try.
Now to prepare myself for the assessment centre a week on sunday which is all about the mental aspect of the police. Fingers crossed.

Second stage ....

After weeks of intense waiting, the letter finally came through .......
I had made it through the first stage. I was so excited.
I had been invited to do a fitness test, i wasnt that scared of the fitness test, i knew my fitness wasnt an issue.
What helped was the fact that at college i had to do many fitness tests and physical training sessions.
Hoewever,,,,, the amount of paper work that i was sent to fill in was unbelieveable and really did scare me. i dont want to fill it in wrong so am keeping at a slow pace and not rushing anything.

Stage one of the application ...

The first stage of any application is the application form, i have applied to a few jobs and have found that none are as in depth as this. Which is understandable.
i made sure that it was filled in completely and checked it over and over many times before sending it off, i found that what helped me was planning first, then i photocopied the form, this was before filling the photocopies with what i had planned and finally filling in the real form. Yes i know this was a long process, however, it was worth it. This really did make everything easier and i would suggest it to anyone who is applying.
After that it was just a case of waiting for the news to come through. if it ever did.
